UMOYA PROJECT
Welcome to Umoya Project
Unintended pregnancy can affect anyone of childbearing age — it knows no borders, and touches women of all backgrounds, cultures, and communities. Yet while the experience is shared, the challenges that follow are often vastly different. In Southern Africa, women face unique and layered struggles shaped by poverty, limited healthcare access, gender-based violence, and social stigma — realities that distinguish their journeys from those of women in more resourced settings like the United States. The Umoya Project recognizes the vital role that caring donor in the developed world can play in uplifting women in South Africa. We invite empowered men and women to stand in solidarity, offering not just empathy but real support — to breathe life, dignity, and possibility into the lives of vulnerable women in Southern Africa.

UMOYA PROJECT
Umoya (a girl's name meaning breath, spirit, or essence of life in SiSwati) is a powerful and soulful name for a project focused on coaching, connection, and transformation—especially one rooted in Africa.
